“Close the CareGap”
We in the Arab Hospitals Federation are committed to uniting our voices and taking action to raise awareness, encourage prevention, and support those battling cancer.

“Close the CareGap” is the theme of this year’s World Cancer Day. As the CEO of the Arab Hospitals Federation, my aim is to shed light on the significance of World Cancer Day and the relentless efforts of the medical community in the fight against cancer.
World Cancer Day is dedicated to raising awareness about cancer, promoting prevention, detection, and treatment, and emphasizing the urgent need for both governmental and individual action.
Cancer remains a global health challenge, affecting millions of lives every year. From early detection to advanced treatments, the Arab healthcare sector is committed to providing comprehensive care and support to those affected by this devastating disease. Our reputable institutions are at the forefront of cutting-edge research and innovation.
On World Cancer Day, let us stand together as a global community, united against cancer. Our healthcare leaders and institutions reaffirm their commitment to advancing cancer research, providing compassionate care, and fostering awareness. As we declare, “I Am and I Will,” let this day inspire collective action, bringing us one step closer to a world without cancer.
The Arab Hospitals Federation is fully dedicated to uniting voices and taking action to raise awareness, promote prevention, and offer support to those fighting cancer. Despite cancer being a persistent global health challenge, the Arab healthcare sector remains steadfast in delivering comprehensive care and aid to those affected.
Let us stand in solidarity on this day, united in the fight against cancer. Our healthcare leaders and institutions reaffirm their dedication to advancing cancer research, providing compassionate care, and promoting awareness.
