One more year!
If life is a game, I think I’ve just unlocked a new level. And trust me… this one comes with plot twists.🎂
This past year has been one of the most transformative of my life. It brought victories that strengthened my resolve, challenges that tested my limits, and moments that reshaped the way I see the world.
Not all lessons came from success. A serious health crisis caused by a medical error put my life in grave danger , I lost a significant amount of blood and faced moments where survival itself was uncertain. It forced me to slow down, listen, and remember that leadership starts with self-leadership, and caring for others begins with caring for ourselves.
At the same time, life can bring everything , success and failure, light and shadow. This year gave me both. From my most vulnerable moment came one of my proudest: being recognized by Forbes Middle East among the Top 100 Healthcare Leaders (#50) an honor that reflects the trust and collaboration that fuel my journey.
From all of this, I step into my new year with clarity:
Impact over activity: choose what leaves a lasting imprint.
Wellbeing is non-negotiable : without it, even the greatest vision can’t last.
Purpose is the compass : it must guide every decision.
And while the achievements matter, what matters even more are the people who have been part of this journey:
My family for their unconditional support, steady in every storm. My friends who love me unconditionally and remind me of life beyond the title. The leaders and partners who have trusted me to speak, act, and open borders and dialogue to advance healthcare in the Arab countries, turning vision into real progress. My colleagues in the Federation whose blind confidence is both humbling and motivating. And my dedicated staff in the Federation and my own companies to whom I strive to be more than a boss, but a model of what is possible when you lead with vision and heart.
And here is the deepest truth this year has confirmed: in the end, love is what allows us to face every challenge. In every situation, love wins and the happiest moments with those we love are the fuel that keeps us moving forward in life and in leadership.
This birthday is not a mark on a calendar, it’s a marker in my story. A story of surviving the hardest moments, celebrating the proudest ones, and walking forward with the people who make both possible.
The next chapter will be written with the courage that kept me standing, the clarity that keeps me focused, and the heart that makes every step worth taking.
